Simon Joiner followed his passion by venturing into the modular building and construction industry. With the establishment of Perth Tiny Homes, Simon has taken his passion to new heights by combining his extensive knowledge of the home building industry with a unique twist, offering innovative “small homes, BIG ideas.”

THE EVOLUTION OF TINY HOMES

A profound event has the power to reshape the future. The inception of the Tiny Home Evolution traces back to a group of compassionate Americans who supported individuals displaced by Hurricane Katrina (2005) and provided them with a place to call home.

In the wake of the global financial crisis (2007, 2008), Tiny Homes once again emerged as a beacon of hope and inspiration in providing affordable housing options to those unable to afford traditional homes.

Since then, Tiny Homes have been embraced worldwide, serving not only as affordable dwellings but also as weekend getaways, granny flats, studios for artists, glamping accommodations, and farm lodging.

Fueled by his passion for the Tiny Homes movement, Simon Joiner, General Manager and Owner, founded Perth Tiny Homes, leveraging his 35 years of experience in fabrication and the modular homes industry to support this burgeoning and cost-effective housing market.

Perth Tiny Homes employs a diverse range of materials in the construction of their homes. Every element of the homes is meticulously crafted on our premises. The trailer chassis is custom-built to accommodate the weight of the structure, ensuring effortless towing, while the frame is constructed with durable steel, guaranteeing a strong foundation.

Additionally, Perth Tiny Homes takes pride in their unique ‘Inspire clad’ feature cladding. This contemporary cladding can be installed vertically, horizontally, or even diagonally, offering versatility in design. By incorporating Colorbond(c), a high-quality steel product known for its vibrant colors and durability, the lifespan of a Tiny Home is significantly prolonged.
